HiPP Formulas for Anti Reflux
HiPP Anti Reflux Sample:
HiPP's Anti Reflux formula is intended for babies who have gastrointestinal Reflux issues. It contains added organic locust bean gum to help to reduce reflux and promote digestion. The ingredients in HiPP AR work by thickening the formula and reducing the amount of air swallowed during feeding, which can help to reduce reflux and discomfort for your baby.
-
Note: HiPP Anti Reflux contains Organic Locust Bean Gum to make the formula thicker once in the stomach. It also contains added starches. The base is a less-hydrolyzed base, similar to HiPP Comfort.
HiPP Formulas for Gas and Constipation
HiPP Comfort Sample:
HiPP’s Comfort formula is a perfect choice for babies with digestion issues. It uses starch, maltodextrin, and a lactose blended carbohydrate base. This makes it a low-lactose formula that can work particularly well with certain infants sensitive to lactose levels.
-
Note: Comfort is similar to a “hypoallergenic” formula in that it uses the same 100% whey protein hydrolysate (86-87% broken down) as HiPP’s HA formula but is not meant to be used in lieu of an allergy appropriate formula like Hypoallergenic formula. HiPP Comfort also contains added starches for creaminess and sweetness - this formula does NOT primarily use lactose as the main carbohydrate.
HiPP Formulas for Milk Protein Allergies and CMPA
HiPP Hypoallergenic (HA) PRE Sample:
Specifically developed for infants at risk of allergies. It contains hydrolyzed proteins similar to HiPP Comfort, which are less likely to trigger allergic reactions. Use this formula if your child has a suspected cow's milk allergy and finds it difficult to tolerate regular formulas.
-
Note: HiPP's Hypoallergenic line of formulas (HA) contain the same 100% why protein hydrolysate (87% broken down) in both Stage PRE, Stage 1 and Stage 2. Therefore, if you suspect CMPA, it is suitable to try this sample regardless of your baby's age. Previously, this formula used to contain added starch in Stages 1 and 2 but has since been made entirely starch free. Lactose is the sole carbohydrate in this baby formula.
What about HiPP Dutch?
HiPP Dutch and HiPP German share identical bases, as both are manufactured in Germany! The only difference is that the HiPP Dutch line does NOT contain added starches, and HiPP German has both starch-added and non-starch options. If you'd looking to sample a HiPP Dutch formula, then HiPP Stage PRE and HiPP HA Stage PRE will both be suitable as both contain no added starch.
