When your baby is spitting up a lot or struggling with gas, HiPP’s two special formulas give American parents a European alternative to standard US specialty options. HiPP Anti-Reflux is thickened with organic carob bean gum, so the formula is more likely to stay down after feeds. HiPP Comfort is designed for gas, bloating, colic and constipation. It has reduced lactose and a fat blend with beta-palmitate, and it contains prebiotics and probiotics. Both are suitable from birth and are classed in Europe as foods for special medical purposes, so use them on your pediatrician’s advice. Neither carries the EU organic label. Because they’re designed for specific symptoms, they aren’t meant as everyday formulas for babies without those issues.
