Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions below
What is the most popular European baby formula?
Our top sellers include HiPP Combiotik Stage PRE and Stage 1, HiPP Dutch Stage 1 and 2, Kendamil Organic Stage 1, and Holle Stage PRE and Stage 1. Popularity changes over time, so check this collection for our current best-sellers. The best formula for your baby depends on their age, digestion and your preferences.
Which European formula is best for a newborn?
For most newborns, a Stage PRE or Stage 1 formula is the place to start. HiPP PRE and Holle PRE use lactose as their only carbohydrate. HiPP Dutch Stage 1 and Holle Stage 1 are also starch-free, while HiPP German Stage 1 adds a little organic starch. Kendamil Organic Stage 1 is made with whole milk and no palm oil. For the first weeks, ready-to-feed bottles are a convenient, sterile option.
What’s the difference between HiPP, Holle and Kendamil?
HiPP offers the widest range, and its Combiotik formulas combine prebiotics with a probiotic. Holle uses Demeter-certified biodynamic milk and keeps its recipes simple, without added probiotics. Kendamil is made in Britain with whole milk and contains no palm oil, using algae DHA. All three are made in Europe to EU infant formula standards.
Are your top-selling formulas organic?
Most of them are. HiPP’s standard formulas, HiPP PUR, Holle and Kendamil Organic are certified organic. HiPP HA, HiPP Comfort and HiPP Anti-Reflux don’t carry the EU organic label, because they’re special formulas made for specific needs.
Can I try a formula before buying a full box?
Yes. We offer HiPP samples, including Stage PRE, Stage 1, Stage 2, HA PRE, Comfort, Anti-Reflux and Kindermilch 1+, and you save 50% on your 2nd and 3rd sample. It’s an easy way to test a formula before committing.
